- Winkler, Morrison, and Ventura Set for NCAA Track & Field ChampionshipsSTORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut track & field teams get ready to compete at the national championships as three athletes on the men's side look to continue tremendous stride in their performances this season on Wednesday at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. Those three athletes competing on the national stage are Colin Winkler in the javelin throw, Marc Morrison in the long jump, and Wellington Ventura in the 400m hurdles. All three qualified with strong results to look back on in the season.
