COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The UConn football team lost their 2024 season opener at Maryland on Saturday afternoon, 50-7, in front of 35,421 at SECU Stadium. Maryland quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. threw for 311 yards and two scored and led an offensive attack that piled up 629 yards in the win.

STORRS, Conn. - UConn senior offensive tackle Chase Lundt (Arlington, TX) was named to the 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List announced on Wednesday morning. The players will be selected after the season to participate in the annoual all-star game which will take place on February 1, 2025 in Mobile, Alabama.

STORRS, Conn. - UConn senior quarterback Joe Fagnano (Williamsport, Pa.) has been named to the 2024 Comeback Player of the Year Award watch list annoounced on Wednesday.  The College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) in association with The Associated Press (AP) and the Fiesta Bowl Organization, released their watch list consisting of 89 college football student-athletes from 67 different schools currently under consideration for this year's award.

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn football team kicked-off their 2024 summer training camp with their first practice on Wednesday afternoon.  Wednesday marked the start of the third training camp under head coach Jim Mora bas the Huskies start the march to the 2024 season opener on Saturday, August 31 on the road at Maryland.
