- Husky Trio Named to 2025 Shrine Bowl 1000 WatchlistSTORRS, Conn. - A trio of UConn football seniors were named to the 2025 East-West Shrine Bowl 1000 Watchlist. UConn senior offensive tackles Chase Lundt (Arlington, TX) and Valentin Senn (Volders, Austria) were joined by senior defensive tackle Jelani Stafford (Brownsville, Pa.) on being named to this year's preseason watchlist for the annual senior all-star game to be held in January.
- Inside the Huddle Set for August 10 at The RentSTORRS, Conn. - The UConn football program will host the second annual Inside the Huddle event on Saturday, August 10 at Pratt and Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field. With the 2024 season around the corner, fans are encouraged to come to The Rent and get a glimpse of the Huskies as they prepare for the coming season. This year's event will be open to the public and will feature tailgating opportunities, a "Meet the Coaches" panel exclusive to football season ticket holders, and an open practice portion.

- Merrimack Game Set for a 12 Noon Kick-Off on WFSB-3 and WWAXSTORRS, Conn. - The UConn football program announced that kick-off for their 2024 home opener against Merrimack on Saturday, September 7 is set for 12 noon with the game airing live on WFSB Channel 3 throughout Connecticut. The game will also be simulcast on WFSB's sister station, WWAX, as well as streamed online through UConn+.

The Husky High Five award recognizes UConn student-athletes that demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, growth, and improvement in their commitment to succeeding in the classroom, their sport, and/or in the area of service and leadership. This award recognizes and honors students who have achieved success in these areas through hard work and dedication. When nominating for the Husky High Five, recipients are selected on the criteria of demonstrating significant achievement in their coursework despite various challenges and showing growth in the areas of academics, personal development, leadership, and service.
- Noel Ofori-Nyadu Invited to Denver Rookie MinicampSTORRS, Conn. - UConn offensive lineman Noel Ofori-Nyadu (Arlington, Texas) has been invited to participate in the Denver Broncos rookie minicamp in May. Ofori-Nyadu is the third Husky this week to earn a invite to a NFL rookie minicamp, joining linebacker Noah Plack (Bridgeville, Pa.) who got an invite to the San Francisco 49ers camp and wide receiver Geordan Porter (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) was invited to the New York Giants and New York Jets.
- Pair of Huskies Taken in the CFL DraftSTORRS, Conn. - Former UConn wide receiver Kevens Clercius (Montreal, Quebec) was selected by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 2024 Canadian Football League Draft on Tuesday night.
