Parking Update: Flower & Garden Show: Alternate Garage!
Feb 22, 2025 12:00 AM | CT Convention Center UConn Student Permit-holders, The annual Flower and Garden Show will be held in the Conference Center from Thursday, February 20th to Sunday, February 23rd. Please be advised that due to the expected increase in event attendees for the Connecticut Flower Show, UConn Student parking access for the Connecticut Convention Center garage will be temporarily suspended from Thursday, February 20th through Sunday, February 23rd. Alternate parking will be available at no charge in the Bushnell South Garage (map), located at 120 Capitol Ave, Hartford (pictured below). The garage is located less than a quarter mile from the UConn campus, but Propark will provide free shuttle services to and from the facility on event days. Shuttles will run from 6:45 am until 10 pm on Thursday and 6:45 am to 5:30 pm on Friday and Saturday. The campus shuttle pickup location will be located on Front Street, near its intersection with Front Street Crossing. The Flower and Garden Show is the only event for which UConn parking displacement will be required this semester. Kindly be advised, individuals who fail to comply and continue to park at the CTCC garage from 2/20/2025 through 2/23/2025 will be required to pay hourly rates. No discounts or validations will be offered. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this period.
