ATLANTA, Ga.- UConn track & field started their outdoor season Friday, competing in Day 1 of the Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by Georgia Tech University.

STORRS, Conn. - Following a dominant indoor track & field season that resulted in dual BIG EAST crowns, the UConn men's and women's track and field teams will kick off their outdoor season on Friday and Saturday at the Yellow Jacket Invite hosted by Georgia Tech Univesity. Last weekend, Marc Morrison and Kyle Johnson wrapped up the indoor season in historic fashion for UConn, receiving second team all-American honors in the long jump and triple jump, respectively.

CHICAGO, Ill. - UConn men's and women's track and field each won their fourth consecutive BIG EAST Indoor Championship on Saturday, continuing their conference dominance in Chicago. The men's side won the BIG EAST for the fourth year in a row with 236.5 points, defeating runner-up Villanova (113 points), bringing the title back to Storrs for the 13th time overall,  The women's side also won their fourth indoor championship in a row with 189 points, 77 points ahead of second place Georgetown (112), a strong performance to win their sixth indoor BIG EAST crown. This is the seventh occurrence of dual championships from the men's side and women's side in program history.

CHICAGO, IL.- UConn men's and women's track and field kicked off the 2025 Indoor BIG EAST Championships on Friday, with both programs in pursuit of winning their fourth consecutive indoor championship. Both Husky teams ended the first day in the lead, with the women up 115 to 27 over second place St. John's, and the men up 70 to 40 over second place Villanova.

STORRS, Conn.- UConn men's and women's track & field will look to continue their recent dominance in the BIG EAST Conference, traveling to the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track and Field Center in Chicago for the 2025 BIG EAST Championships Presented by Jeep from February 28th- March 1st.

NEW HAVEN- UConn track & field wrapped up a busy weekend in their final competitions  before the Indoor BIG EAST Championships in two weeks. The Huskies competed in the Eagle Elite Invitational at the Track at New Balance, the Valentine Invite hosted by Boston University and the Giegengack Invite hosted by Yale in New Haven.

STORRS-  In the last weekend of meet competition before the BIG EAST Indoor Championships in Chicago, UConn track & field will compete in the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston on Friday and Saturday, and the Yale Giegengack Invitational on Saturday in New Haven.
