Colorado Springs, CO - The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) is proud to announce UConn seniors Roman Kinal (Waterford, Michigan) of men's hockey, Meghan O'Neil (Forest, Virginia) of softball, Ben Huber (Pendleton, South Carolina) of baseball and Emily Lavarnway (Ovid, New York) of women's track and field have been named 2023 All-American Athlete Strength and Conditioning Athletes of the Year Award recipients. This award recognizes these four student athletes' athletic accomplishments and dedication to strength and conditioning.

STORRS, Conn. -  Toronto Maple Leafs General Manager Kyle Dubas announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has signed UConn junior forward Ryan Tverberg to a three-year entry-level contract starting with the 2023-24 season. Tverberg will report to the Toronto Marlies in the American Hockey League (AHL) on an professional tryout for the remainder of the 2022-23 season and the Calder Cup playoffs.

STORRS, Conn. – UMass Lowell graduate student goaltender Gustavs Davis Grigals turned in a 40 save night as the River Hawks knocked off the No. 19 ranked UConn Huskies, 2-1, Saturday night in a Hockey East Quarterfinal match-up at Toscano Family Ice Forum in Storrs.

STORRS, Conn. -   Following the end of the Hockey East Regular season, seedings and matchups have been set for the 38th Hockey East Men's tournament. The no.4 seed UConn Huskies will play host to the no. 5 seed UMass Lowell Riverhawks Saturday March 11 at 4pm at the Toscano Family Ice Forum.

STORRS, Conn. -  The UConn Huskies closed out the regular season with a 6-5 win over Boston College. Graduate Student Justin Pearson scored a Hat trick in the win, while Jake Black, Matthew Wood and Ty Amonte all scored.

Boston, Mass. -   The UConn Huskies fell to the Boston College Eagles Friday night by a final of 5-3. The Huskies held a one goal lead heading into the third period, but back-back goals and an eventual empty netter sunk the Huskies.
