- UConn Signs Transfer Aidan MahaneySTORRS – The back-to-back national champion UConn men's basketball has announced the addition of transfer Aidan Mahaney for the 2024-25 season. Mahaney will join the Huskies after two years at Saint Mary's College and will have two years of eligibility remaining.

- Football Date Change vs. Georgia StateSTORRS, Conn. - The UConn football team announced a date change to the upcoming 2024 schedule. UConn's home game against Georgia State will move up a day to Friday, November 1 at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field. Kick-off time and TV information is still TBD.

- UConn Golf Announces Team AwardsSTORRS, Conn. – UConn head men's golf coach Dave Pezzino announced the team awards for the 2023-24 season this week, as voted on by players. The 2024 UConn Player of the Year is senior Tommy Dallahan (Simsbury, Conn.) and the 2024 Player Development Award has been given to freshman Alex Heard (Boca Raton, Fla.).
- Golfers Claim BIG EAST Postseason HonorsSTORRS, Conn. - UConn men's golfers Tommy Dallahan (Simsbury, Conn.) and Bradley Sawka (Ellington, Conn.) took home BIG EAST postseason honors announced by the league on Monday. Sawka was honored as the 2024 BIG EAST Freshman of the Year while also earning all-conference accolades. Dallahan was an All-BIG EAST pick as well. The National Collegiate Rankings were used to determine the individual winners and an All-BIG EAST First Team and All-BIG EAST Second Team.

- Flynn and Rees Sign Pro Contracts in ECHLSTORRS, Conn. – Graduate Student defenseman Jake Flynn and Harrison Rees have signed professional contracts to play in the ECHL. Flynn has signed with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, the ECHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, while Rees signed with the Fort Wayne Komets, the affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers.
- Huskies Push No.1 BC to the BrinkCHESTNUT Hill, Mass. - The UConn men's hockey team fell to no.1 Boston College 5-4 Saturday evening in the Hockey East Quarterfinal. The Huskies scored three goals in the third period, but Jack Malone of Boston College scored the eventual game winner midway through the third.

- MSOC Releases 2024 ScheduleSTORRS, Conn. – Head coach Chris Gbandi and the UConn men's soccer team released their 2024 schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The Huskies schedule features 17 games, including 10 home games at Ray Reid Field at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium.

- Huskies Earn Runner-Up in Big East ChampionshipIndianapolis, IN - On the final night of competition, the University of Connecticut Swimming and Diving Team narrowly fell to Villanova to claim the second spot in the Big East Championship. The two teams had separated themselves from the rest of the league early in the championship with success in the final event, the 400-yard freestyle relay, sealing the victory for the Wildcats. Final scores for the two were 1482.5 for Villanova to UConn's 1461.5.
- Huskies Break Records on Day Three of Big EastIndianapolis, IN - After falling closely behind Villanova on day two of competition, the University of Connecticut Swimming and Diving Team sought to reclaim the lead set on day one with events that align with the Huskies' strengths. The team did not disappoint. The excitement began during preliminaries when Maggie Donlevy set a new school record in the 100-yard backstroke. The record would not last for long; however, as Maggie would go on to improve upon her time, reaching 53.21 later in the evening finals. This would not be the only school record for which Maggie played a part in the evening as she and her counterparts Angela Gambardella, Ella Epes, and Claire Lippert set a new time for the 400 yard medley relay soon after. Both the backstroke and medley relay performances were wins. In addition, Kayla Mendonca took third in the 100-yard backstroke while Angela Gambardella took second in the 100-yard breaststroke.
