The Huskies shutout Jacksonville in game one, 7-0. UConn then beat Middle Tennessee, 6-1, behind a stellar pitching performance from Sydnee Koosh. UConn moves to 6-4 overall this season.

The Huskies closed the contest on a 27-6 run and a used a game-deciding 10-0 spurt in the final minutes to rally for their 17th-straight win at the XL Center.
