MACON, Ga. – The UConn softball team opened the Mercer Softball Invitational on Friday afternoon with a pair of wins. The Huskies shutout Jacksonville in game one, 7-0. UConn then beat Middle Tennessee, 6-1, behind a stellar pitching performance from Sydnee Koosh. UConn moves to 6-4 overall this season.

STORRS, Conn. - Sophomore Jake Richard scored the overtime winner Friday evening as the UConn men's hockey team upset no.4 Maine in overtime at the Toscano Family Ice Forum. Freshman Callum Tung made 32 saves in the victory.

HARTFORD – The UConn men's basketball team (18-8, 10-5 BIG EAST) rallied back from 14 down for the fourth time this season to tip Villanova (15-12, 8-8 BIG EAST) by a score of 66-59 on Tuesday night at the XL Center. The Huskies closed the contest on a 27-6 run and a used a game-deciding 10-0 spurt in the final minutes to rally for their 17th-straight win at the XL Center.

HARTFORD – The UConn men's basketball team (17-8, 9-5 BIG EAST) returns to Hartford for its penultimate game at the XL Center this season when it plays host to Villanova (15-11, 8-7) on Tuesday night. Tip-off is set for 6:30 on FS1 with Jason Benetti and Bill Raftery on the call.

STORRS, Conn. – UConn head football coach Jim Mora has announced the addition of Pryce Tracy to his coaching staff for 2025.  Tracy joins the Huskies as the team's new passing game coordinator and quarterback's coach.

GENEVA, Ohio – The UConn swimming and diving team continued their success from the previous days on Friday at the Big East Championship meet. Several Huskies took home conference championships and set new school and personal records.

NEW HAVEN- UConn track & field wrapped up a busy weekend in their final competitions  before the Indoor BIG EAST Championships in two weeks. The Huskies competed in the Eagle Elite Invitational at the Track at New Balance, the Valentine Invite hosted by Boston University and the Giegengack Invite hosted by Yale in New Haven.

STORRS-  In the last weekend of meet competition before the BIG EAST Indoor Championships in Chicago, UConn track & field will compete in the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston on Friday and Saturday, and the Yale Giegengack Invitational on Saturday in New Haven.

STORRS, Conn.- Senior Chloe Thomas was named the NCAA Division I Northeast Regional Female Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Tuesday.

UConn will begin the weekend on Friday, February 21 with a pair of matchups beginning at 1:30pm against Jacksonville. The Huskies will play a total of five games on the weekend, against Jacksonville, Middle Tennessee, Alabama State (2x), and Mercer.

STORRS, Conn. -  The UConn women's tennis team continued to stay hot as they swept Sacred Heart University 7-0 Wednesday afternoon. Olivia Wright led the way for the Huskies winning no.1 doubles and no.1 singles.

STORRS, Conn.- On November 18th, 2023, UConn volleyball closed out their season with a five-set home victory over Villanova. The victory wrapped up a tough season for the Huskies, the first one in the building formerly known as the Freitas Ice Forum. UConn finished tied for tied for last in the BIG EAST, with a conference record of 3-15.

QUEENS, N.Y.-  UConn volleyball's 2024 season came to a close Thursday night at the hands of Big East rival St. John's, as the Huskies fell in four sets in the Great 8 Round of the NIVC.
