- 9:00 AM3hInternational Teaching Assistant OrientationThe International Teaching Assistant Orientation is highly recommended for newly appointed or prospective international teaching assistants who have not previously taught in the United States. While participation is not mandatory, it is designed to assist international students in their transition to the TA role. Students arriving before the orientation date are encouraged to attend. If you have already attended ITA Orientation in the past, you do not need to attend again. International Teaching Assistant Orientation is separate from New TA Orientation facilitated by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) and The Graduate School.
