This 2-hour training is designed for educators, administrators, and school-based professionals to deepen their understanding of evidence-informed support services for LGBTQ+ people, typical experiences, and outcomes. Participants will explore the importance of inclusive and accurate data collection, examine disparities affecting LGBTQ+ students across educational systems, and develop fluency with affirming terminology. Through real-world examples and research-based information, attendees will gain the tools to identify and challenge systemic inequities, support all students more effectively, and foster a more inclusive school environment. This training offers Continuing Education Credits and is ideal for professionals seeking to build equitable practices within their roles.
