LIS Mentor Teachers Jill Levasseur and Nikki St. George will lead a daylong workshop at Bluff Point State Park. Activities will include modeling storm drain pollution; water testing; seining for fish-microplastics in fish and molluscs; sieving for plastics in sediments; plastics identification

Open Air 2025 – Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition
The exhibiting artists are Marsha Borden, Helena Chastel, Kathryn Frund, Phoebe Godfrey, Hugh MacDonald, Bob Pavlik, Dan Potter, and R. Douglass Rice. Open Air 2025 is open daily and will remain on view through October 6, 2025. June 19, 2025 iis the last day to visit indoor art exhibitions. Exhibitions inside the AVS Gallery will resume on September 11, 2025

Holster Scholars Program Information Session (Virtual)
The Holster Scholars Program (https://honors.uconn.edu/holster-scholars) is a selective enrichment opportunity available only to first-year Honors students. The program supports a select number of students who wish to complete independent research, design, or creative projects in the summer following their first year at UConn.First-year Honors students are invited to join us in Webex for an introduction to the program followed by a Q&A.
