Do you feel prepared to act in the event of a medical emergency? Do you want to learn how to recognize and stop a life threatening bleed? If so, join us to learn how to Stop The Bleed!   This course, taught by a UConn Rescue BLS and STB instructor, will cover recognition of life threatening bleeds and how to treat them through direct pressure, wound packing, and application of a tourniquet. There will be opportunity for hands on skills practice and each student will receive a Stop The Bleed certification at no cost.
