Pause for Paws!  Take a break from your school work and come spend a little time with one of therapy dogs from Tails of Joy. Pet Therapy is known to reduce stress, anxiety and to build empathy. Plus, the dogs are just so cute and adorable! 

Attendance Requirement: fraternity & sorority chapter presidents. CPH, IFC, IGC & NPHC council leadership are strongly encouraged to attend.

In this talk, which is cosponsored by UConn's Dodd Center for Human Rights (https://doddcenter.humanrights.uconn.edu/), Dr. Hantzopoulos will discuss unifying concepts in peace and human rights education to consider the role they play in schools and classrooms to catalyze social change.

Panelists representing different countries, cultures, and language groups will come together to share their International UConn journey. Come and learn from their perspectives as they tell us about what led up to their decision to pursue higher education in the United States, how they overcame barriers along the way, and advice they have for others. This interactive, dynamic session will provide opportunities for the audience to interact with the panelists and promises to be lively and engaging.
