The Human Rights Practice Lab is a project-based capstone course that provides Master's students in human rights with an opportunity to critically engage with human rights issues, strategies, tactics, institutions, and law in a practical setting. Students complete a project that advances the work of a human rights organization on the local, national, or international level. The students completed the following projects, which they will present:Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Human Rights Education Unit: Understanding the Strategic Role of Human Rights Education in UN-wide Policies, Processes and InitiativesIrina Ahmed, Natalie Goncalves, and Sara TrueaxUNICEF USA: Governance Frameworks ProjectMadison Lindsey, Yvonne Mbewe, and Ashten VassarLunch will be provided.
