​CCEI Summer Fellowship (https://ccei.uconn.edu/programs/summer-fellowship/) is UConn's startup accelerator. These sessions help educate program participants on how to define their business, build their brand, and launch their venture, all while building a community with the other entrepreneurs participating in the program. ​The highly-competitive program only selects 10 startups to participate each year. The Fall 2024 Innovate Wellness Challenge, hosted by SHaW, asks students to develop innovative solutions to health inequities at UConn. Register here for the chance to win scholarship money to make your health solutions a reality! Students will work in teams and receive mentorship from staff, faculty & peers for the opportunity to implement their plans to promote health at UConn. Body: At the finals, the top teams will pitch their prototypes to a panel of judges, who will then deliberate and select a 2024 Innovate Wellness Challenge winner. The winning team will receive $1500 in scholarships along with seed money to support piloting their idea.

In an effort to increase transparency and be more accessible to the student body, MDSG will be hosting a town hall on 11/20/2024 at 5 p.m. in Keller Auditorium. An agenda has been prepared, but a Q&A session will also occur. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual option will be made available. A financial transparency document, corresponding with agenda item #2, will be released prior to the town hall. Any member of the UConn Health community is welcome to join.
