The Advice and Perspectives: Exploring Majors event is a two-part experience to support first- and second-year students in the Academic Center for Exploratory Students (ACES) at UConn Hartford. This event will provide students with structured guidance, practical tools, and personalized coaching to help them make informed decisions about their academic and career pathways.Through lecture-style learning and one-on-one coaching, students will gain clarity on their major options and leave with a well-defined academic plan that aligns with their skills, interests, and career goals.Event Goals:✔️ Provide students with structured guidance on major exploration� Help students connect academic majors to career opportunities� Offer personalized coaching to assist in narrowing down major choices� Ensure students leave with an action plan for their final two years of study

This is a chance for you to engage with employers in a casual setting - think of it like a pop-up Career Fair without the long lines. This is your chance to stop by for a visit with top employers to learn about their current openings and their company culture. Learn about their interviewing practices and make personal connections. No formal presentations, come as you are on your way to and from class. Open to all students and majors. No pre-registration necessary.

Spring Career Fair 3/28/25: Engage with top employers looking to hire! Or, if you are not graduating yet? Think internships! Prepare for your career future: talk to employers and see what's out there for you! Learn about incredible internship, co-op and full-time opportunities. And if you are interested in pursuing a socially responsible career path, you will find those organizations who positively affect the community and society at large in the "Careers for the Common Good" section located on the concourse. All students are welcome to join us at the fair, regardless of your major. The Spring Fair will have companies recruiting for all majors.
