UConn Football Announces Jeremiah Bogan as Director of Player Personnel
STORRS, Conn. - UConn head football coach Jim Mora announced the addition of Jeremiah Bogan as the program's new director of player personnel.
Bogan joins the Huskies after spending the 2023 season at LSU as the assistant director of player personnel where he oversaw the transfer portal as well as advanced scouting and evaluating high school prospects.
He has also served as a national scout for the East/West Shrine Bowl since July of 2023, serving as a national crosschecker across conferences for the invitation process with his focus on the defensive back position. Before taking on his current role with the East/West Shrine Bowl, Bogan was the Big 12 college scout for Optimum Scouting with the annual game starting in July of 2021.
He began his professional career with UNLV in January of 2022 as a recruiting intern. He had a stop at Georgia Tech as a recruiting assistant in the summer of 2022 before joining the University of Pittsburgh for the 2022 season as a recruiting analyst. He moved on to Liberty University where held the position of director of scouting where his focus was on the defensive side in evaluating prospects before joining LSU in April of 2023.
Bogan's playing career included a spot as a preferred walk-on at Elon University in 2016 before heading to North Greenville University where he played from 2017 through 2019 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in sports management. He was a graduate transfer at Limestone University from 2020-21 where he earned his Master of Business Administration. He also attended an area scouting/master's class at the NFL Scouting Academy in 2020.
