- Jun 219:30 AMOLLI at UConn Celebrates JuneteenthThe Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Connecticut will host its first Juneteenth event at UConn's Waterbury campus on Friday, June 21, starting at 9:30 a.m. The program features the Mattatuck Museum documentary, "Common Threads: The Power of the African American Experience in Waterbury", and a presentation from incoming Connecticut Community Foundation President and CEO, Kathy Taylor. The event will also provide lunch catered by Southern Treats, and music from the celebrated Ross and Bost Duo. The entire event is free and open to everyone. The event is free, but space is limited.
