Several community agencies will be on campus during Suicide Prevention Week to provide educational information to students on suicide prevention and resources. 

Students will be given small yellow flags to write encouraging messages to one another. These flags will be placed in the grass in the courtyard as a representation of the number of college students that end their life to suicide each year. The "field" will be on display all week. 

UConn Waterbury will be hosting Suicide Prevention Week. Students will be able to participate in the "Field of Memories" activity throughout the week, engage in mental health screenings and get resources from community providers.
