Algebra Seminar - Generalizations of Teitelbaum's lambda function to super-elliptic Mumford curves
Wednesday, September 25, 2024 11:15 AM – 12:05 PM
- DescriptionJ. Teitelbaum expressed branch points of Mumford curves through \(p\)-adic theta functions. He used these to verify the exceptional zero conjecture. I will outline how his formulas are easily generalized to super-elliptic Mumford curves, i.e., Mumford curves that are cyclic covers of the \(p\)-adic line.
