STORRS, Conn. – The UConn Women's Lacrosse team announced their 2024 schedule on Monday afternoon. The Huskies have six home games on the Storrs campus, nine games on the road, and one game versus James Madison University at the US Lacrosse Facility in Sparks, MD as the 'away' team.

Information on season tickets and single-game tickets will become available in the coming weeks.

UConn is coming off a 12-7 season, earning an NCAA at-large bid for the third year in a row in 2023. The Huskies scored 283 goals last season, with 114 assists.

The Huskies kick off the season with an exhibition game against Brown University on February 3^rd. They open their regular season on February 14^th at Fairfield at 3:00pm. The non-conference schedule also includes, Yale, UNH, St. Joe's, UMass, and UAlbany.

UConn will travel to BIG EAST conference opponents University of Denver in Denver, CO; Georgetown University in Washington, DC; and Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. They will host Villanova University, Marquette University, and Butler University. UConn's BIG EAST schedule is slated for the end of March and the month of April.

The Huskies will return six seniors this year, and seven graduate students, including veteran goalkeeper, and BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year in 2022 and 2023, Landyn White. Among others are Kate Shaffer, BIG EAST Co-Attacker of the Year, and 2022 captain Madelyn George. George and White have also been named captains for the 2024 campaign. Also returning for the 2024 season are captains Morgan Carter and Raye Neil. The Huskies have also included graduate transfers Jenna Giardina, Shea van den Broek, and Jojo Gum to the 2024 squad.

The BIG EAST Championship will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio at Xavier University on Thursday, May 2^nd and Saturday, May 4^th.
