Huskies Fall at Harvard

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 8 ranked UConn women's hockey team lost to the Harvard Crimson, 1-0 on Saturday night at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center. 

Megan Warrener started in goal for the Huskies, making 18 saves in the game. 

The game was scoreless heading into the first intermission with shots in favor of the Huskies, 19-8. 

The game remained scoreless through the second period as UConn outshot Harvard 26-13 in the second frame.

Harvard found the game's only goal on the power play 52 seconds into the third period, off the stick of Jenna MacDonald. 

UConn continued to pressure Harvard tallying 26 shots in the final 19 minutes, as the Huskies recorded as season high 71 shots. Harvard's goaltender Emily Davidson was stellar making 34 saves in the game, keeping the Huskies goalless for the first time this season.
