White, Shaffer named to roster for 2024 IWLCA Senior All-Star game

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Landyn White and Kate Shaffer have been invited to play in the 2024 Division I Senior All-Star game, as announced by the IWLCA on Wednesday afternoon. The players selected in each Division have been divided into two teams: North and South, with both UConn players on the North squad.

Both White and Shaffer have been influential players for the UConn program over the past 5-6 seasons. Both players were named to the IWLCA North East All-Region Second Team upon the completion of the 2024 season. White, a career record-breaking goalkeeper for the Huskies, was named Honorable Mention All-American by USA Lacrosse. 

The Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at the USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on Saturday, June 1, 2024. The Division I teams will play the first game at 10:00 am ET. Admission for all three games is free of charge.
