FH Announces 2024 Schedule

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn Field Hockey team under head coach Paul Caddy have announced their 18-game schedule for the upcoming 2024 season. The Huskies will open with a pair of exhibitions games, hosting Fairfield and Vermont at home on August 18 and 24, respectively, prior to the start of the regular season.

The Huskies are looking for a bounce-back this fall with their sights set on returning to the BIG EAST Championship and the 2024 NCAA National Championship Tournament.

The Huskies have eight away games scheduled and 10 home games on campus at Nancy Stevens Field at George J. Sherman Sports Complex. They will kick-off the 2024 slate at home versus St. Joseph's on August 30. The furthest they will travel is to Norfolk, Va. to play the ODU Monarchs in a BIG EAST contest to finish the regular season on November 1.

UConn will face six 2023 NCAA Tournament teams this season, with home games against St. Joseph's (Aug. 30), Liberty (Oct. 25), and Syracuse (Oct. 27), and road games at Rutgers (Sept. 8), Harvard (Sept. 15), and ODU (Nov. 1).

The 2024 home schedule gets underway on August 30 against the Hawks on Nancy Stevens Field. The other UConn homes games this fall are UNH (Sept. 1), Cornell (Sept. 6), Temple (Sept. 20), Yale (Sept. 22), Villanova (Oct. 4), Quinnipiac (Oct. 11), and UMass (Oct. 20).

The Huskies head out on the road for match-ups feature Brown (Sept. 12), Georgetown (Sept. 28), Delaware (Sept. 29), Albany (Oct. 6), and Providence (Oct. 18).
