MSOC Releases 2024 Schedule

STORRS, Conn. – Head coach Chris Gbandi and the UConn men's soccer team released their 2024 schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The Huskies schedule features 17 games, including 10 home games at Ray Reid Field at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium.

UConn will kick off the season with a pair of exhibition matches, the first at Army on Saturday, August 10 and then the following week, Saturday, August 17 against Merrimack at Morrone Stadium.

The home opener for the 2024 season is set for Thursday, August 22 as the Huskies will host Stonehill at 7:00pm.  

The Huskies will play a total of eleven non-conference matches, with eight matches coming before they begin their conference slate in mid-September at DePaul. While in BIG EAST play, UConn is slated to play three out of conference games during the week, with the first coming on Tuesday, September 24 as the Huskies will host Fairfield at 7:00pm. UConn will travel to Vermont on Tuesday, October 8 for a match-up with the Catamounts. The Huskies last out conference match will be on Tuesday, October 15 against Bryant at 7:00pm in Storrs.

UConn's first BIG EAST home match is scheduled for Saturday, September 28 against Seton Hall at 7:00pm. The Huskies will also host conference foes Georgetown (October 12), Providence (October 23), and Akron (November 2).

After opening BIG EAST play on the road at DePaul (September 20), the Huskies also travel to Villanova (October 4), Butler (October 19), and St. John's (October 26).

The first round of the BIG EAST Championship will be played on Saturday, November 11 with the conference semifinal (November 14) and final (November 17) scheduled for the following week at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, Maryland.
