Merrimack Game Set for a 12 Noon Kick-Off on WFSB-3 and WWAX

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn football program announced that kick-off for their 2024 home opener against Merrimack on Saturday, September 7 is set for 12 noon with the game airing live on WFSB Channel 3 throughout Connecticut. The game will also be simulcast on WFSB's sister station, WWAX, as well as streamed online through UConn+.

UConn and WFSB Channel 3 begin year two of an exclusive media partnership in 2024-25. Last season's game against Sacred Heart also featured on WFSB and WWAX.

The Huskies welcome Merrimack College to The Rent for a first-ever match-up between the two schools. UConn has played at least one FCS opponent in each season since moving up to FBS in 2002 and is 20-2 in those games.

Noel Ofori-Nyadu Invited to Denver Rookie Minicamp
STORRS, Conn. - UConn offensive lineman Noel Ofori-Nyadu (Arlington, Texas) has been invited to participate in the Denver Broncos rookie minicamp in May. Ofori-Nyadu is the third Husky this week to earn a invite to a NFL rookie minicamp, joining linebacker Noah Plack (Bridgeville, Pa.) who got an invite to the San Francisco 49ers camp and wide receiver Geordan Porter (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) was invited to the New York Giants and New York Jets.
