Football Date Change vs. Georgia State

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn football team announced a date change to the upcoming 2024 schedule. UConn's home game against Georgia State will move up a day to Friday, November 1 at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field. Kick-off time and TV information is still TBD.

The Huskies and Panthers met for the first time on the gridiron last season, a Georgia State win at home in Atlanta. The game against Georgia State will mark the Huskies only match-up against an opponent from the Sun Belt Conference next season. It will also mark the final home game of 2024 season at The Rent and end a stretch of six-straight home games.

Noel Ofori-Nyadu Invited to Denver Rookie Minicamp
STORRS, Conn. - UConn offensive lineman Noel Ofori-Nyadu (Arlington, Texas) has been invited to participate in the Denver Broncos rookie minicamp in May. Ofori-Nyadu is the third Husky this week to earn a invite to a NFL rookie minicamp, joining linebacker Noah Plack (Bridgeville, Pa.) who got an invite to the San Francisco 49ers camp and wide receiver Geordan Porter (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) was invited to the New York Giants and New York Jets.
