Softball Adds to the Class of 2029
STORRS, Conn. – UConn Softball Head Coach Laura Valentino has announced the addition of Alexis Juhl to the class of 2029 on Monday morning. Juhl, originally apart of the Huskies class of 2030, re-classified to the class of 2029, arriving in Storrs a year early.
Huskies Voted to Finish Second in BIG EAST Preseason Coaches' Poll
NEW YORK – The UConn softball team has been picked to finish second in the BIG EAST preseason coaches' poll. The Huskies received two first place votes from BIG EAST coaches totaling 57 points, four points behind Villanova.
UConn to Celebrate Softball's 50th Anniversary
STORRS, Conn. – The UConn Softball program will be celebrating the 50th season of the program in the upcoming 2025 season. Since the program's inception in 1975, the Huskies are 1,204-937-6 all-time, producing 16 conference championships, eight NCAA Tournament appearances, and eight All-Americans.
