Cross Country Announces 2024 Schedule
STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's cross country program and Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Beth Alford-Sullivan have announced their schedule for the upcoming 2024 season.
This coming fall, the Huskies will compete in four regular season races before their championship season gets underway at the start of November. The Huskies get started on August 30 with a season opener race with location and time to be announced.
UConn will then take part in the Spiked Shoe Invitational at Penn State on September 13 and then make their annual appearance at the Paul Short Invite in Pennsylvania on October 5. The Huskies will head up to New Hampshire on October 11 for the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup.
After the Pre-Nationals Invitational on October 19 in Madison, Wisc., the team will head to Leesburg, Va., for the 2024 BIG EAST Championships that will be hosted by Georgetown on November 2. The NCAA Northeast Regional Championships take hold on November 15 in Hopkinton, N.H., with qualifiers headed to the nationals the following week back in Madison on November 23 hosted by Wisconsin.
