Huskies Travel to West Point for Weekend Matches
STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's tennis team is back in action this weekend as they travel to West Point New York as they will face off against Army on February 1 and St. Bonaventure on February 2.
The Huskies are coming off a 1-0 start to the 2025 season as they took down Fairfield University 4-3 at home Wednesday afternoon. Huskies won every doubles match and secured the match when Maria Constantinou in singles #2 won, and freshman Chloe Lomans secured her first collegiate win.
Army enters the weekend 3-2 overall with a 3-0 record at home. The Black Knights are currently coming off a 4-0 victory over Rider January 25.
St. Bonaventure enters the weekend 0-2 coming off losses to Navy 6-1 and Fordham 5-2. The Bonnies and the Huskies have history as the two teams played in the Army Invitational this fall Oct. 4-Oct.6.
