In singles play, Maria Constantinou and Chloe Lomas both secured victory while senior Isabel Petri Bere secured the UConn victory, winning no.3 Doubles by a final of 6-4, 6-7, 6-3. With the win, UConn improves to 5-1 on the season and remain undefeated in BIG EAST action.

"This was a great win for our team today," said Head Coach Glenn Marshall. '" The seniors on our team haven't beaten Georgetown in their careers, until today. Fitting that senior Isabel Petri-Bere clinched the fourth point for the team win 4-3. Our doubles were excellent again, and it really set the tone for us heading into singles. I'm very proud of the team for this win today, we hung tough against a very good BIG EAST opponent."
