Huskies Post Solid Results at Dartmouth Invitational
DARTMOUTH, New Hampshire – The UConn women's team wrapped up another successful weekend in their fall slate at the Dartmouth invitational which featured Boston College, Gonzaga and Dartmouth.
The pairing of Isabel Petri Bere and Caroline Hinshaw stayed consistent throughout the weekend, winning all three of their matches. The pairing of Olivia Wright and Maria Constantinou continued their success in wins over Dartmouth and Gonzaga, only falling short to Boston College. The pairing of Victoria Matos and Chloe Lomans also finished with doubles win against Gonzaga.
In single matchups, freshman Chloe Lomans, as well as sophomore Victoria Matos each won two of their three matchups, both against Boston College and Gonzaga. Caroline Hinshaw had the third singles win for the Huskies against Gonzaga, while Isabel Petri-Bere and Cameron Didion got the two individual wins against Dartmouth.
UConn vs Dartmouth College
- The UConn doubles pairing of Olivia Wright and Maria Constantinou continued their success in a win over Dartmouth. The pairing of Isabel Petri Bere and Caroline Hinshaw also finished with doubles win over Dartmouth at this meetup. In single matchups, Isabel Petri-Bere and Cameron Didion were able to get individual wins over Dartmouth.
UConn vs Boston College
- The pairing of Isabel Petri Bere and Caroline Hinshaw continued their achievements as a duo with doubles win over Boston College, giving the Huskies their only doubles win against Boston College. In single matchups, freshman Chloe Lomans finished with a win, as well as Victoria Matos.
UConn vs Gonzaga
- The pairing of Isabel Petri Bere and Caroline Hinshaw pulled out their third doubles win against Gonzaga, giving them a perfect record for the weekend. The pairing of Olivia Wright and Maria Constantinou also finished with a win over Gonzaga, finishing the weekend with 2 wins and 1 loss. The pairing of Victoria Matos and Chloe Lomans also finished with doubles win against Gonzaga. In single matchups, Caroline Hinshaw, Chloe Lomans, and Victoria Matos gave the Huskies their 3 wins against Gonzaga.
