Huskies Dominate Quinnipiac

STORRS, Conn. -  The UConn women's tennis team secured another victory behind a dominating 6-1 win over Quinnipiac. Olivia Wright and Maria Constantinou continued their dominance in no.1 doubles, while the Huskies won five of the six single matchups.

The Huskies started the match strong winning the no.1 doubles 6-4 while Chloe Lomans and Isabella Asenov won no.3 doubles by a final of 6-1. Olivia Wright, Isabel Petri Bere, Victoria Matos, Chloe Lomans and Isabella Asenov all won their matchups for the singles competition securing the 6-1 win for the Huskies.

"This was a nice win over a very good Quinnipiac team," said Head Coach Glenn Marshall. "Our doubles was excellent today with all three teams playing well. We were energized and had great focus around the court, especially at the net. In singles, we had some challenging matches on several courts.  Overall, very happy with how the team played today. I'm looking forward to carry that momentum into our match with Georgetown on Saturday."
