Huskies Secure 1 Seed in BIG EAST Tourney

STORRS, Conn. -  Following the completion of the regular season, the BIG EAST Conference has announced the seeding for the upcoming post-season tournament. UConn has been named as the unanimous one seed, the highest ever seed in program history.

The Huskies wrapped up the regular season with a program best 15-4 overall record and a 9-1 record in BIG EAST action. The Huskies will look to continue their historic season as they receive a first-round bye into the quarterfinals and will play the winner of Creighton/Seton Hall on Friday April 18 at 9am. Prior to this season, the Huskies highest finish in the BIG EAST tournament came in 2024 when they made it as far as the semi-final matchup.
