Huskies Open Season Against In-State Foes
STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's swimming and diving team is back in action tomorrow Thursday, October 3 to kick off the 2024-25 campaign. The Huskies will face off against in state foes, Southern Connecticut State University and Sacred Heart University. The meet is set to kick off at 6pm at the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium.
The Huskies return plenty of familiar faces and are led by veterans, Kayla Mendonca, Niamh Hofland, Maggie Donlevy and Julia Pioso. In addition to the returners and veteran talent, UConn added eight new freshmen to the squad to help compete for a BIG EAST Championship.
