Huskies Ship up to Boston for Dual Meet against Northeastern
STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's swimming and diving team is back in action this weekend, as they travel to Boston, Massachusetts for a matchup against Northeastern University. The meet is set to kick off at 1pm and can be streamed live on Flo Sports.
The Huskies return to the pool after having a week off. UConn is coming off a 1-1 weekend which featured a win over Georgetown University and a loss to Villanova university. The Huskies continue to impress early. Two standouts from the Huskies last meet were Maggie Donlevy and Sydney Perkins, who both shattered pool records vs. Georgetown at McCarthy pool. Donlevy broke the pool record in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 55.75, while Perkins broke the record in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:03.58.
Northeastern enters the weekend 2-1 overall. The Huskies are coming off a dual meet against MIT. Despite winning five individual events and one team events, the Huskies fell to MIT by a final of 173-124.
