Huskies Return to the Pool for Dual Meets Against Wildcats and Hoyas
STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's swim and dive program is back in action this week to take on reigning BIG EAST champions Villanova and Georgetown University. The Huskies are set to face Villanova Thursday Oct. 17 at 11am and will face Georgetown University Oct. 19 at noon.
The Huskies are coming off a win against Southern Connecticut State University and Sacred Heart University on Oct. 3. The Huskies dominated the meet, sweeping numerous events, and reaching the 154-point mark midway through the meet securing the win. The Huskies will look to continue their success in the pool, relying on upperclassmen Maggie Donlevy and Kayla Mendonca while also looking to continue their success in diving.
The meet on Thursday will be Villanova's first meet of the 2024-25 season. They will follow our meet with a meet against Georgetown University.
The meet against the Huskies will be the fourth meet of the season for the Hoyas. The Hoyas most recent dual meet came on Oct. 5 against Howard university where the women came away with a 133-90 victory.
