Huskies Return to Pool, Set to Host UNH and Seton Hall
STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's swim and Dive team is back in action to kick off the second half of the season with two home meets. The Huskies will open the weekend by welcoming the University of New Hampshire to Storrs Friday afternoon at 2pm and will close out the homestand with a meet vs. Seton Hall University at 4pm on Saturday January 18.
UConn closed the first half of the season strong by winning the Bucknell invitational and dominating the University of Vermont. The Huskies currently sit at 5-2 overall and are 1-1 in conference action. UConn will look to continue their success at home, posting a 3-0 overall record. New Hampshire enters the meet with a perfect 6-0 overall record. The Wildcats are coming off a 186-114 win over the University of Rhode Island on January 12.
Following the matchup against the Wildcats, the Huskies will welcome BIG EAST foe, Seton Hall to Storrs. The Pirates are currently 4-2 overall and have yet to face a conference opponent. The Huskies and Pirates are familiar with each other, having both competed at the Bucknell Invitational earlier this season. Seton Hall finished the invitational in sixth place.
