Softball Announces Updates to Upcoming Weekend Schedule
STORRS, Conn. – The UConn softball program has announced a change to their upcoming schedule this weekend due to anticipated inclement weather in Storrs on Saturday, April 5.
UConn will now play a doubleheader against Butler on Friday, April 4 beginning at 3:00pm with the second game scheduled to follow after the conclusion of game one at 5:30pm. Tickets for Saturday's game will be valid for the 5:30pm game on Friday.
Sunday's series finale is scheduled to start at 12:30pm.

- Softball Standout Kaitlyn Breslin Receives National RecognitionSTORRS, Conn. – UConn standout sophomore outfielder Kaitlyn Breslin has been recognized by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) and D1 Softball as the national Player of the Week. She was also named to the Softball America Stars of the Week. Breslin becomes the first player in program history to receive these prestigious awards.
- Huskies Head to Boston College on TuesdaySTORRS, Conn. – The UConn softball team will jump out of conference play this week as the Huskies head to Boston College as part of a home and home series with the Eagles this season. First pitch is set for 6:00pm on Tuesday, April 1 and will be televised live on ACC Network.
- Huskies Shutout Creighton Securing Series WinOMAHA, Neb. – The UConn softball team defeated the Creighton Bluejays, 8-0 in a five inning run rule on Saturday afternoon at the CU Sports Complex. UConn moves to 7-2 in BIG EAST play and 18-12 overall this season.
- Huskies Power Past Creighton in Game TwoOMAHA, Neb. – The UConn softball team won a back and forth thriller in game two, beating the Creighton Bluejays, 22-18. UConn's 22 runs were a season high and the second most runs the Huskies have scored in a game in program history. The 40 combined runs were the most in any UConn game in program history and is the highest scoring game in the country this season.
