STORRS, Conn. – The UConn softball program has announced a change to their schedule for this upcoming weekend. The Huskies will no longer play in the Rawlings Classic this weekend at the University of Virginia. UConn will instead play in the MUSB Invitational hosted by Mercer University from February 21-23.
UConn will open the weekend on Friday, February 21 with a pair of matchups, the first coming against Jacksonville at 1:30pm. The Huskies will then play Middle Tennessee at 6:30pm.
On Saturday, February 22 UConn will play Alabama State at 5:30pm.
The Huskies will close out the weekend with two matchups on Sunday, February 23. UConn will once again match up with Alabama State at 9:00am. The Huskies second game of the day will be against the host school Mercer, starting at 11:30am.

- Huskies Split on Day Two of JU/UNF InvitationalJACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The UConn softball team started out their Saturday slate at the JU/UNF Invitational with a 4-3 win over Middle Tennessee in extra innings. Grace Jenkins delivered a big go-ahead two-run home run in the top of the eighth inning, propelling the Huskies past the Blue Raiders. The Huskies fell in game two to Jacksonville, 7-1. UConn moves to 3-1 on the weekend and 4-4 overall this season.
