Carson D'Ambrosio Named to WSOC Staff

STORRS, Conn. - UConn women's soccer head coach Margaret Rodriguez has announced the hiring of Carson D'Ambrosio as the Huskies new assistant coach.

"We are very excited to bring in Carson to our program," said Rodriguez. "He is a valuable addition to our staff and everyone I spoke with described him the same way, humble, loyal and built on work ethic. Those three qualities are a recipe for success in our program and we can't wait to see his impact over the next few years."

D'Ambrosio joins the staff after currently working at FSA FC as their current Director of Goalkeeping and Video Analyst. Prior to his time at FSA, D'Ambrosio worked at Central Connecticut State as Director of Analytics and Goalkeeper Coach for the men's soccer team in 2022-23.

In 2020-21, he worked as the goalkeeper coach at Eastern Connecticut State with the women's soccer team.

During his playing career, D'Ambrosio served as a team captain for the CCSU men's soccer team and played for the Blue Devils from 2014-18. He also spent some time playing professionally with Hartford Athletic
