WHOC Announces 2024-25 Schedule
STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's hockey team has announced their schedule for the 2024-25 season. The 34-game regular season slate includes 17 home games at the Toscano Family Ice Forum, a 27-game Hockey East schedule, and the annual appearance in the Nutmeg Classic.
Following an exhibition game against Quinnipiac (Sept. 21) the Huskies will welcome the Minnesota Gophers (Sept. 27-28) to Storrs CT to kick off the regular season. The Huskies will continue their non-conference slate with a two-game series against Penn State (Oct. 4-5).
UConn will kick off Hockey East play with a trip north for the first game of a home and home series against the University of New Hampshire (Oct.11-12). The Huskies will then have one game series' against Providence College (Oct.18) and Harvard (Oct.19).
The month of November features rematches of the Hockey East playoffs for the Huskies as they will faceoff against Holy Cross (Nov.1-2), Northeastern (Nov.8-9) and following a home and home with Merrimack (Nov.15-16) the Huskies will face Boston College (Nov.22-23). UConn will wrap up their non-conference slate Nov.29-30 as they travel to Sacred Heart University for the Nutmeg Classic.
The Huskies will close out the first half of the season on the road for matchups against New Hampshire (Dec. 6) and Maine (Dec. 7).
To start the second half, UConn will ship up to Boston for a matchup against Boston College (Jan. 3) before traveling to Vermont (Jan.5). UConn will return home for a two-game series against Maine (Jan. 7-8) before hitting the road for a weekend series against Vermont (Jan.24-25). UConn will wrap up the month of January with their third matchup against Merrimack College (Jan. 31).
Closing out the regular season, the Huskies will play seven games in the month of February with four of the seven at the Toscano Family Ice Forum. UConn will welcome Northeastern (Feb. 1), Holy Cross (Feb. 8), Providence (Feb. 14) and Boston University (Feb. 21) to Storrs, while traveling to Boston University (Feb. 7), Providence (Feb.15) and Boston University (Feb.22) for the final game of the regular season.
