Huskies Head to Vermont this Weekend
STORRS, Conn. – The No. 14 ranked UConn women's hockey team travels to Vermont this weekend for a two game series with the Catamounts. The series will begin on Friday, January 24 at 6:00pm at Gutterson Fieldhouse.
The Huskies (14-8-2) are coming into the weekend winners in four of their first six games to begin the calendar year. UConn is currently tied for first place in the Hockey East standings on 37 points. FULL STANDINGS
UConn's top line in Claire Murdoch (Toronto, Ontario), Ashley Allard (Ottawa, Ontario), and Kyla Josifovic (Burlington, Ontario) have accounted for 46 of the Huskies forwards 54 total points this season. The Huskies top blue liners in Ava Rinker (Elverson, Pa.) and Meghane Duchesne-Chalifoux (Montreal, Quebec) have recorded 21 of 39 points from UConn defensemen this season.
