Gabby Williams to Represent France at Paris Olympics
PARIS – UConn women's basketball alumna Gabby Williams '18 was named to the roster that will represent host nation France at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games this summer.
Williams helped France to the bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Les Bleues' second Olympic medal all time.
France will compete in its fifth Olympic games and the nation's fourth straight.
The women's basketball tournament will take place from July 27 to August 11 (Day 1 to 16). Pierre Mauroy Stadium in Lille will host the preliminary phase before the final phase shifts to Paris and Bercy Arena. France begins Olympic play vs. Canada on July 29 at 11:15 a.m. ET.
