DURHAM, N.C. - The UConn baseball team (6-11) lost to Duke, 12-2, on Tuesday afternoon at Jack Coombs Field.
UConn scored a season-low two runs on four hits with Matt Garbowski and Rob Rispoli producing a pair of RBI singles.
Redshirt freshman Kyle Peters tossed a career-high 1.2 innings and Frank Spirito IV pitched a career-high 1.1 innings wth his first career strikeout.
Next up, the Huskies face No. 17 North Carolina on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
