STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut men's and women's track & field teams welcome 13 signees to the 2023 incoming class.  

The signing class features an abundance of talent from Connecticut with four athletes on the men's side; Noble Gongon (Simsbury, Conn.), Dar Jankovic (Willington, Conn.), Michael Johnson (Burlington, Conn.), Joshua Mooney (Stonington, Conn.), and two athletes on the women's side; Gabriela DeFelice (New Canaan, Conn.) and Audrey Kozak (Shelton, Conn.). 

In addition to talent from the state, the class brings along talent from the east coast all the way to places internationally. The four additional signees on the men's side are Kyle Johnson (Montverde, Fla.), Mawali Ossuniyi (Linwood, N.J.), OJ Singletary (Rochester, N.Y.), and Jordany Volquez (Lawrence, Mass.). On the women's side the three additional signees are Anna Connors (Bangor, Maine), Mia Powell (Glen Eden, New Zealand), and Malin Rahm (Schaffhausen, Switzerland). 

"I'm extremely excited about this incoming class for 2023-24," Coach Sullivan said. "We have been able to lock down some unbelievable talent from the state of Connecticut and keep them in state. In addition, we have added some phenomenal national and international talents as well to create a signing class for UConn Track & Field's record books."
