Beth Alford-Sullivan Named USTFCCCA Northeast Region Men's Coach of the Year

STORRS, Conn.- Beth Alford-Sullivan has been named the 2025 NCAA Division I Indoor Northeast Region Men's Coach of the Year, the association announced Thursday.

Coach Alford-Sullivan has continued to elevate the UConn men's track & field program to incredible heights. Under Coach Alford-Sullivan's coaching and leadership, the UConn men's track & field program won their fourth consecutive indoor BIG EAST Championship with 236.5 points. Coach Alford-Sullivan and the Huskies dominated the meet from start to finish, highlighted by 5 BIG EAST Champions, and 19 All BIG-EAST performances.

In her third season at the helm, Coach Alford-Sullivan has continued to lead the Huskies to historic achievements, with the men's track & field team being the top-ranked team in the Northeast Region. Under Coach Alford-Sullivan's elite leadership, the Huskies earned two All-America honors last week at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships. The UConn men's track & field squad also set four new indoor school records throughout the indoor season.

UConn kicks off their outdoor track & field season tomorrow in Atlanta, Georgia at the Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by Georgia Tech University.
