MSOC heads to Seton Hall on Saturday

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's soccer team (5-2) travels to New Jersey this weekend to take on the Seton Hall Pirates (4-2-1) on Saturday, September 23. Kickoff is set for 6:00pm and will be streamed on FloSports.

UConn is coming into Saturday's match on a three game winning streak. The Huskies have found success on the offensive end this season ranking 12th in the country in scoring offense and 5th in points per game. UConn has had contributions up and down the roster with eight different goal scorers through the first seven games of the season. Forward's Scott Testori and Lucas Almeida lead the team with three goals apiece. Sophomore midfielder Nicolas Tomerius ranks first in the BIG EAST in assists with four so far this season.

Seton Hall is coming off a 4-1 win over Bucknell earlier in the week. The Pirates have a stout defense that has only allowed four goals all season, ranking at the top of the BIG EAST in almost every defensive category. The last time UConn went to Seton Hall was in 2021 when the Huskies beat the Pirates 1-0 on a last second goal in the 90th minute. The all-time record between the two programs is 15-15-4.
