MSOC Travels to Dartmouth

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's soccer team (4-0-1) heads to Dartmouth on Friday, September 13. Kickoff is set for 7:00pm and will be streamed on ESPN+.

UConn is coming into Friday's match riding an unbeaten streak to begin their 2024 slate, their best start to a season through the first five games since 2015 (2-0-3). The Huskies have started out strong offensively, leading the BIG EAST in goals with 12, averaging 2.40 goals per game which ranks 26th in Division I. UConn's defense has been just as good only conceding three goals this season, an average of 0.60 per game which ranks 14th in Division I. 

Redshirt-freshman Sabri Hanni has led the charge offensively with four goals in his first five games this season. He leads the BIG EAST in points with nine, averaging 1.80 points per game. Senior forward Scott Testori has also been a big time contributor to the Huskies offense this season with four assists, ranking 5th in Division I. 

Dartmouth (1-1-1) is coming off a 2-2 draw against St. Mary's last Sunday. The Big Green are coached by Bo Oshoniyi and are led by a pair of All-Ivy league forwards, in Trenton Blake and Vasilis Moiras. 2021 was the last time these two programs met as the Huskies beat the Big Green, 1-0 (Sept.21). UConn leads the all-time series 9-3-4.
