MSOC opens BIG EAST Tournament at fourth seeded St. John's

QUEENS, N.Y. – The no. 5 seeded UConn men's soccer team (8-7-1) will open the BIG EAST Tournament at the no. 4 seeded St. John's Red Storm on Saturday, November 4 at 6:00pm at Belson Stadium. The game will be streamed on the BIG EAST Digital Network

The Huskies will be playing in their first postseason match since the 2019 season and their first since returning to the BIG EAST Conference in 2020. 

UConn has had a potent attack all season long, ranking at the top of the BIG EAST in almost every offensive category. The Huskies have seven players that have scored two or more goals this season. Scott Testori leads the Huskies in points this season with 18 (7 goals, 4 assists). 

St. John's (8-3-5) is coming into the postseason riding an eight game unbeaten streak. The Johnnies are led by Nicolas Fleuriau Chateau who leads the conference with 14 goals this season. UConn won the regular season matchup with the Red Storm 2-1, in Storrs.
