MSOC Ties No. 15 Seton Hall

STORRS, Conn. – The No. 24 ranked UConn men's soccer team tied No. 15 Seton Hall, 0-0 on Saturday night in front of a sellout crowd.

Both teams struggled to create chances in the first half as both teams only had one shot apiece through the first 45 minutes.

Eli Conway had the first shot on goal of the game in the 48th minute.

UConn's goalkeeper Max Kerkvliet made his first save of the night in the 70th minute. The redshirt-freshman finished with five saves, all coming in the final 20 minutes.

Seton Hall turned up the pressure on the offensive end, tallying six shots in the last 20 minutes. UConn defender Guillaume Vacter had a game saving goal line clearance in the 81st minute. Seton Hall nearly scored on a wide open goal after a Kerkvliet save, but the senior captain was there to head the Pirates shot away from UConn's goal.
